General Assembly 
The General Assembly of the ordinary members is the highest authority
of the Association. It controls the Association and appoints and
controls its Management.

According to clause 8.1 of the Ecma By-laws, the President shall each year call at least two ordinary General Assemblies. In 2009, the first Ecma General Assembly took place on 16-17 June in Budapest, Hungary (hosted by Ecma International) and the second will take place on 3-4 December in the USA (host to be identified).
