General Assembly 
The General Assembly of the ordinary members is the highest authority
of the Association. It controls the Association and appoints and
controls its Management.

According to clause 8.1 of the Ecma By-laws, the President shall each year call at least two ordinary General Assemblies. In 2009, the first Ecma General Assembly took place on 16 June in Budapest, Hungary (hosted by Ecma International) and the second took place on 3 December in Mountain View, CA, USA (hosted by Microsoft).
In 2010, the first Ecma General Assembly will be held on 17-18 June in Asia.
