TC12 - Product safety Upcoming meetings 2 - 3 June 2008 in Brussels Activities TC12 has completed, in close co-operation with EICTA members and test houses representatives, the preparation of the final draft for the second edition of Standard ECMA-287 - Safety of electronic equipment. This standard has been approved by the Ecma General Assembly of 19th December 2002. This standard and some supporting documents have now been forwarded to IEC TC108, to serve as a basis for the preparation of an IEC Standard, in the area of safety of electronic equipment within the field of audio/video, information technology and communication technology.
