This ECMA Standard defines the Physical Layer characteristics of the primary rate access interface between data processing equipment (DPE) and private circuit switching networks (PCSN).
The interface concerned is at the S reference point as defined in CCITT Recommendation 1.411. The reference configuration for the interface is given in Figure 1.
